IND vs AFG Match Preview
India's batting has performed well, especially the top order and they will be ones to watch out for. Afghanistan's standout batters have been few and so we should include them as well but it is their bowlers that will attract more attention. The expectation is that India will make at least three changes for this match with the most important one being the return of Deepak Chahar.
The matches so far have been close and it would also seem prudent to avoid too many players from just one team. An even mix of players is suggested.
The weather will be hot and there is no doubt about that! It will test the players, especially the fast bowlers. There is no dew that we have seen in any of the matches so far either.
The pitch seems to have dried up a bit and that will make the spinners more likely to pick up wickets. Picking up Fazalhaq Farooqi or Naveen ul Haq as a differentiator player could be the play here because of India's top order weakness against left-arm pace and the fact that the lower order has struggled in the death overs.
Rahmanullah Gurbaz outshines Rishab Pant
Gurbaz has scored 262 Dream11 points in the Asia Cup 2022 while Rishab Pant has a total of 50. It is a no-brainer as to which wicketkeeper-batter has had more impact.
Most Wickets in Asia Cup 2022
Mujeeb ur Rahman is second this list with 7 wickets and an economy rate of just over 5.
- Avesh Khan has been ruled out of the series and Deepak Chahar has placed him

We think this is going to be a low-scoring match where the spinners will dominate. Picking up spin-bowling all-rounders and top-order batters is going to be our strategy for this match. We do expect India to win so your fantasy teams can be a bit heavier on Indian players.
- Rahmanullah Gurbaz is one of the standout batters in this edition of the Asia Cup. He will fancy his chances against an Indian bowling lineup that lacks some teeth
- Deepak Chahar is returning from injury and may be lower owned than usual. His record of picking up early wickets in the powerplay is unmatched and we would expect him to have an immediate impact.
- Rohit Sharma showed tremendous form in the last couple of matches. He is under a lot of pressure and the best way to answer is to score runs. The big man has not faced such criticism in the last few years and we expect a response on the field.
