TKRW vs BRW Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Aug 24, 2022
Cricket has another new format with more rules for the fans to follow as the 6ixty cricket tournament kicks off. The format is basically T10 (i.e 60 balls but with a few different rules). Only six wickets can be lost by a team, 30 balls are to be bowled at one end before changing over for the remaining 30 balls, and there will be three powerplays (2 + 1 of the batting team's choosing).
The first two teams to kick off the tournament will be the Trinbago Knight Riders Women and the Barbados Royal Women. The cricket betting sites are currently offering identical odds for both teams to win this match.
Match prediction and cricket betting tips for TKR Women vs Barbados Royals Women 6ixty Women's Competition 2022. The match will be played at Warner Park, Basseterre, St Kitts on the 24th of August 2022.
TKRW vs BRW Team Previews
Trinbago Knight Riders Women
TKR Women will be led by Deandra Dottin. She may have recently retired from international cricket but there is no doubt about just how destructive she can be. Kycia Knight, Kyshona Knight, and Sune Luus are the other big names in this squad. We also expect Natasha McLean to play a significant role for the TKR Women.
The team has a strong batting lineup but its dependence on Dottin is clear to see.
Hayley Jensen, Anisa Mohammad, and the all-rounders will shepherd the bowling lineup. With just two overs per bowler, teams will have to use their resources very smartly and the bowlers will have to be on top of their game from the very start.
Trinbago Knight Riders Women Playing 11
Geetika Kodali, Jannillea Glasgow, Lee Ann Kirby, Anisa Mohammed, Caneisha Isaac, Hayley Jensen, Kyshona Knight, Kycia Knight, Natasha McLean, Sheneta Grimmond, Sune Luus.
The Barbados Royals Women will have Hayley Matthews as the captain. She is one of the best T20 players in the world and when in form, can easily win you the match with the bat. She is also very handy with the ball and will play a crucial role in the 6ixty 2022 for her team.
We worry a bit about the quality that surrounds her, though.
Chinelle Henry, Chloe Tyron, and Brittany Cooper are the other batters in the squad. The bowling attack will likely feature Aaliyah Alleyne and Shakera Selman, both decent bowlers but not likely to cause any sleepless nights in the opposition camp.
The Barbados Royals Women have an uphill task ahead of them and we think the cricket betting sites are making a mistake by offering the same odds on them as they are for TKR.
Barbados Women Playing 11
Shanika Bruce, Aaliyah Alleyne, Afy Fletcher, Britney Cooper, Chinelle Henry, Chloe Tryon, Fatima Sana, Hayley Matthews, Qiana Joseph, Reniece Boyce, Shakera Selman.

Pitch and Conditions
The weather forecast for St. Kitts is quite good and we should not have any interruptions for the opening match of the 6ixty 2022 Women's tournament! Traditionally, the pitch at St. Kitts is flat and extremely favored toward the batters. We are sure that is going to be the case once more since the West Indies cricket board would love for the 6ixty to be a high-scoring spectacle.
