Southern Vipers have been brilliant up until now, losing just one match and having a total of 15 points to their name. Not only that, they have a net run rate of 1.588, which speaks volumes about how dominant they have been. Surprisingly, their only loss came in their most recent encounter as they lost to Sparks in a high-scoring fixture.
The Vipers started off their run in a terrific manner, winning all of their first three matches. Their run included a win over South East Stars as well and that should have them brimming with confidence going into the next match.
On paper, the Vipers have a well-balanced unit with the likes of Georgia Adams and Charlotte Dean in terrific form with the bat. Taylor, in fact, has been brilliant with the ball as well and will hold the key for them in this upcoming match. Given the number of match-winners available, the Southern Vipers have at their disposal, getting past them is going to be a colossal task even for high-flying South East Stars.

If there's any side that can come close to the Vipers on the points table, it is South East Stars. They have been brilliant up until now, winning three out of their four completed matches, and have a terrific net run-rate of 0.976. Besides, they are coming off a confidence-boosting win over Lightning and cannot be taken lightly.
South East Stars showed their batting class in the previous match as they piled up a 175-run total against Lightning. The depth in their batting order came to their rescue as Alice Davidson Richards and Tash Farrant played wonderfully well at the back end of the innings to take their side's total to 175, which otherwise could have been more like 150. The final flourish, in fact, proved to be the difference between the two sides as the Stars won the match by 28 runs.
On paper, the Stars have a terrific side with the likes of Tash Farrant and Alice Davidson in fine form. However, they have not been as consistent as they would have liked and will want to get the ball rolling at the business end of the tournament. If they manage to perform to their potential in the upcoming match, Southern Vipers will definitely have their work cut out.
