SCT vs NL Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Feb 13, 2019
Although there is plenty of action happening in the main division of Global Cricket, the associates aren't staying behind. Scotland, Netherlands, Oman, and Ireland are taking on each other in a T20I Quadrangular series with the first match to be played between Netherlands and Scotland at Al Amarat on 13th February. The Associates do not really get as much playing time as the regular teams and with T20 World just around a year away, both the sides will be looking to get their combination right and get some momentum in the limited-matches they have until then.
SCT vs NL Team Previews
With four wins in their last T20I meetings with the Netherlands, Scotland will certainly be the more confident bunch of the two teams. The players have gained plenty of experience of playing in different conditions with Calum Macleod and Kyle Coetzer playing across the globe.
Ruadhri Smith did well in his stint with Glamorgan and Calum Macleod impressed one and all in Afghanistan Premier League and Vitality T20 Blast. There will be a lot of responsibility on the shoulders of Kyle Coetzer, Ruaidhri Smith, and Calum Macleod to put up inspirational performances with the bat. With the availability of Ritchie Berrington in the middle-order who also happens to be more than capable with the ball, Scotland have depth in their batting lineup without compromising with the bowling potency.
Scotland appear to be a well-balanced side, but they, too, have an apparent weakness of lack of experience in the quick-bowling department. They have a strong batting lineup with almost all batsmen capable of hitting the ball right from the word go which can really be tough to handle for the Netherlands bowling attack.

Just around a year ago, Netherlands were beaten comprehensively by Scotland in the T20I tri-series. They'll be looking to get over that and get some momentum early in the tournament.
Led by Pieter Seelar, the men in Orange are certainly not short on experience. They have Ryan ten Doeschate who is coming off an excellent run in the recently concluded Bangladesh Premier League. Roelef van der Merwe did well in the county cricket and the team will be banking on his experience.
Although the Netherlands look fairly balanced in the batting department, they're a little light as far as their bowling goes. They lack an experienced quick bowler which was the main reason for their hammerings a year ago. They'd need their quick bowler to step up and if they're able to produce what they've done in domestic games, Netherlands can certainly give Scotland a run for their money.

SCT vs NL Betting Tips
Scotland were clearly a better team when the two teams met in the last summer where they defeated the Netherlands with considerable ease in both the meetings. Both the sides are a little light on the quick-bowling department which could very well govern the fate of this match. Scotland have a better-balanced batting attack having good experience of playing in different conditions and are our pick to win the upcoming match at Al Amarat.
