NZW vs SLW Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Feb 19, 2023
Group A in the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2023 is very evenly poised. Australia has qualified but the second spot is up for grabs. New Zealand has won just one match out of its three and has a very slim chance of making it to the semis. Sri Lanka has two wins from its three matches and is currently the best placed (ahead of South Africa) to take that second qualifying spot, however, it would ideally need to win this match.
The best cricket betting sites have New Zealand Women as the clear favorite heading into this match.

NZW vs SLW Team Previews
New Zealand Women
Suzie Bates finally broke the shackles that New Zealand seems to have been under during this tournament and scored a brilliant 81 to lead them to victory. Another big victory is the only thing that will give New Zealand a chance to qualify and that is why we expect the batters to go hard from the start.
Suzie Bates and Amelia Kerr are the two big names that we are going to be keeping an eye on. We would also like to see Sophie Devine go back to opening the inning where she has had the most success.
The bowling lineup for New Zealand is excellent. Jess Kerr, Amelia Kerr, Lea Tahuhu, and Hannah Rowe will back themselves to keep the Sri Lankans down to a low and manageable total.
New Zealand Women Playing 11
Suzie Bates, Bernadine Bezuidenhout, Georgia Plimmer, Amelia Kerr, Sophie Devine, Maddy Green, Hannah Rowe, Lea Tahuhu, Jess Kerr, Eden Carson, Fran Jonas.
Sri Lanka Women
Sri Lanka's batting has been quite decent in the matches that it has played so far. Harshitha Madavi has been the standout but Chamai Athapaththu is also extremely good. An aggressive Nilakshi de Silva showed that there is something to work with down the order as well.
Still, we feel that everything has to go right for Sri Lanka Women to be able to out-bat the New Zealand lineup.
In terms of bowling strength, Ranasinghe is perhaps the only real threat. The other bowlers rely on the scoreboard pressure to get their wickets. Sri Lanka has been impressive so far but it is easy to see why they are the underdogs in this contest.

NZW vs SLW Betting Tips
We are going to back New Zealand Women to win this match. We think they have a stronger batting lineup and the strength of their bowling is far superior. The odds are a bit low but the chance of a payout if quite good.
