MOT vs TON Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Aug 07, 2019

Things are beginning to get more and more interesting as we move towards the final leg of Global T20 Canada. With the result of the third match of the second round of the tournament wherein Montreal Tigers are set to take on Toronto Nationals, things will get a lot clearer as far as the getting the teams going through to the eliminator and playoffs is concerned. It was just a couple of days ago when these two teams met where Toronto Nationals emerged on top in a rather one-sided contest. Montreal Tigers have improved a lot after having a dismal mid-competition and will be looking to win this fixture and finish their campaign on a high. The same is true for the Tigers as well.
MOT vs TON Team Previews
Montreal Tigers
In the tournament, on the whole, Montreal Tigers ended up winning only a couple of matches, and that too after getting off to a flying start against Winnipeg Hawks. They had a poor middle section of the tournament wherein they were able to win only one match out of the four they played.
Their last match against Toronto Nationals was a reflection of how they've fared in the tournament. Batting first on a ground with small boundaries and an excellent surface to bat on, Montreal Tigers struggled to get going as they somehow limped to a total of 136 runs.
Their bowling did well to make a match out of it despite scoring a pretty low total on that surface. Scott Kuggleijn and AC Evans were impressive upfront, and while Faad Ahmed as well did a spectacular job, their other bowlers gave away plenty of runs in their overs. Hadn't that been the case, Montreal Tigers could have actually emerged as the winning team, and they will definitely be looking to improve in that aspect in the upcoming fixture.
Montreal Tigers Playing 11
Kyle Coetzer, Ruvindu Gunasekera, Dinesh Chandimal, GJ Bailey, Thisara Perera, Matthew Cross, Nikhil Dutta, Alasdair Evans, Dillon Heyliger, Fawad Ahmed, Scott Kuggeleijn.
Toronto Nationals
Just like the Montreal Tigers, the Nationals too have won a couple of matches from a total of five matches played. Toronto Nationals had a poor start to the tournament, but they've got their act together in the last few matches.
Against Montreal Tigers, in their last match, their bowlers paved a road to an important win for them in the tournament. Chris Green and Salman Nazar picked up a couple of wickets each to rock Montreal Tigers. All their bowlers bowled with discipline which resulted in the restriction of Tigers to a modest total.
Even though they did not get off to a pretty good start, which in itself would have been sufficient to chase the total down, Chirag Suri, with excellent support from their lower middle-order, took his side to a much-need win. The management will be hoping for a better performance from their middle-order and if that happens, we can expect a similar result in the upcoming fixture as well.
Toronto Nationals Playing 11
Rodrigo Thomas, Chirag Suri, Moises Henriques, Heinrich Klaasen, Ravinderpal Singh, Sandeep Lamichhane, Christopher Green, Manpreet Gony, Jeremy Gordon, Salman Nazar, MJ Mcclenaghan.

MOT vs TON Betting Tips
The two teams met just a couple of days ago wherein Toronto Nationals thumped Tigers by a fair margin. The injury to Yuvraj Singh and his availability for the next game is still under clouds of uncertainty and his absence could be a huge factor in governing the result of this game. Apart from that, however, with the kind of momentum they have and confidence gained from their last win, the Nationals seem to be better placed to emerge on top in the upcoming fixture.
