LL vs SV Match Prediction & Betting Tips - Sep 01, 2019
The Women’s Cricket Super League 2019 group stages have ended and we have the lineup for the finals day ready. The Women’s Cricket Super League semi-final is going to be played between Loughborough Lightning and Southern Vipers.
We don’t’ think anyone is going to argue that the three best teams of the tournament managed to make it into the final’s day lineup. Loughborough Lightning has seven wins from its ten matches while the Southern Vipers have four wins, a tie, and a no-result from its ten matches.
Southern Vipers lost form towards the end of the group stages and would be aware that luck played a big role in it beating out Yorkshire Diamonds for the final playoffs spot. Interestingly, Loughborough Lightning and Southern Vipers played their last group match against each other just a couple of days back and so the semi-final will be a re-match of sorts.

With Georgia Elwiss, Mignon du Preez, and Georgia Adams in the middle order as well, there is a lot of batting talent to call upon.
There are a number of players in the Loughborough Lightning side that can bowl. In their previous match against the Southern Vipers, seven bowlers were used. All but one managed to take a wicket showing the depth that is present in the bowling.

The Southern Vipers started the Women’s Cricket Super League very well and were unbeaten for a very long time. This sudden loss in form would be a bit troubling to them. We think they may have got a bit complacent and should be back to their best in this contest.
Suzie Bates, Danielle Wyatt, Tammy Beaumont, and some decent middle-order players make for a strong batting side. It is definitely capable of matching Loughborough Lightning in this respect. In fact, the possibility of an individual player winning the game off her own bat is more in the Southern Vipers.
A lot of all-rounders are also available in the Southern Vipers giving them plenty of bowling options. Amanda Wellington, Natasha Farrant, Suzie Bates, and Isabelle Wong are going to be the bowlers to watch out for.
