Match prediction and cricket betting tips for India vs Australia 3rd ODI 2023. The match will be played at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on the 22nd of March 2023.
IND vs AUS Team Previews
India was completely crushed in the second match by Australia. It has had no answers to Mitchell Starc for two matches running and serious questions are going to be asked about Suryakumar Yadav's place in the lineup. Not only him, but there are also a number of players that have not played so far in the series and we think there may be a couple of changes.
Chennai is traditionally a venue where spin has played a big part. The best chance of scoring runs is going to come against the new ball which is where Shubman Gill could come into the picture. He has had a quiet series but cannot be termed as being out of form. SKY is also one of the best players of spin and could make a contribution to cement his place for the upcoming ODI World Cup.
We think India's batting will come good and its spinners will also love bowling in Chennai. Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav are all going to tough to face even if there is a little bit of help form them.
India Playing 11
Rohit Sharma, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav, Lokesh Rahul, Hardik Pandya, Ravindra Jadeja, Axar Patel, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj.
Australia will be confident going into this match. It had its moments in the first ODI and absolutely dominated the second. Mitchell Marsh is in terrific form and Travis Head is also doing very well. It looks as if David Warner is no longer the first-choice opening batter for Australia and that Travis Head will keep his position.
The Australian batting is strong and has a lot of depth. Someone like Steve Smith could be invaluable on a surface where playing spin is going to be a bit tricky. He is our pick for the top run scorer for Australia.
As far as the bowling goes, Mitchell Starc is not going to get the same kind of assistance here and could struggle for wickets. Without him causing havoc, the rest of the bowlers are also going to have a much harder time picking wickets.
This is the toughest vanue for Australia and we expect them to struggle here.
Australia Playing 11
Mitchell Marsh, Travis Head, Steven Smith, David Warner, Alex Carey, Marnus Labuschagne, Marcus Stoinis, Ashton Agar, Sean Abbott, Mitchell Starc, Adam Zampa.

Pitch and Conditions
There are some clouds around and we could have a few showers but there is no real threat to the game. The pitch is going to be interesting to see. The entire ground has been redone and square has also had a lot of work done. We expect a slightly slow surface with help for the spinners and some inconsistent bounce as the match goes on.
A score of 260-280 is going to be quite competitive at this venue.
IND vs AUS Betting Tips
We think India has a great chance of winning the series. The conditions in Chennai are suited to it much more so than for the Australians. A better spin attack as well as batters that are more used to playing on spin-friendly conditions should help India win the match.
Bet on India to win.
Bonus Cricket Bets
If the Chennai wicket plays true to its nature, there is going to be help for the spinners as well as some inconsistent bounce. Both of these things equal wickets and that is what we are banking on while recommending Over 15.5 wickets to fall.
Australia has hit more sixes than India by a fair margin in both ODI's so far. They have bigger hitters and tend to go for sixes from the start. We think Australia could end up hitting more sixes even if it does not win the match.
