GGS vs KWSS Team Previews

Gohilwad Gladiators

The Gohliwad Gladiators are a pretty decent batting lineup with a number of players that can bat at a fast strike rate. Prerak Mankad is the one that catches the eye immediately as a batsman you want to back. He has hit 5 sixes in the tournament, the second-most for any player in SPL 2022. He also has the most runs for the Gohliwad Gladiators.

Raxit Mehta and Nihar Vaghela appear to be the other two players that are likely to make a mark in the match.

The bowling is led by Saurya Sanandiya with six scalps so far but Kuldeep Raval, Jaydev Unadkat, and Yuvraj Chudasama have all bowled well also.

The Golhliwad Gladiators are certainly a strong unit.

Yuvraj Chudasama, Fenil Soni, Hardik Rathod, Jyot Chhaya, Jyortir Purohit, Jaydev Unadkat, Kuldeep Raval, Prerak Mankad, Sahil Karathia, Shaurya Sanandia, Vishvaraj Jadeja.

Kutch Warriors

The Kutch Warriors won their first match of SPL 2022 and would be looking to build some momentum to rise up the standings. There is more than enough time for the table to change dramatically and the performance by the Warriors in the previous match shows that they have a lot of talent as well.

Stealing the show was Samarth Vyas who scored 102 in just 59 deliveries with six hits over the boundary. This was easily the inning of the tournament so far and actually took a bit of attention away from the lack of performance of the other batters.

Harvik Desai, Krishnakant Pathak, and Alok Ranjan would all expect more from themselves with the bat than what they have produced so far. the Kutch Warriors may have got a good score in their previous match but that was down to individual brilliance and that is not going to happen every time.

Kushang Patel continued to pick up wickets and was well supported by Ramesh Padiyachi. There does not seem to be an outstanding bowler in this lineup apart from Kushang Patel.

Agnivesh Ayachi, Amit Ranjan, Alok Ranjan, Kushang Patel, Ramesh Padiyachi, Viharsinh Jadeja, Dev Dand, Harvik Desai, Krishnakant Pathak, Samarth Vyas, Vandit Jivrajani.

Pitch and Conditions

The conditions in Saurashtra are going to be hot but no rain is predicted on match day. The pitch has been slow, low, but absolutely flat. A bit of tun is to be expected in this part of the world, no matter what format you are playing. Scores of around 150 have been par and anything above 1709 is going to be very hard to chase down.
