Two sides that did pretty well in the league stage and then in their respective semi-finals - Mon Repos Stars and Choiseul Clay Pots have both made it to the finale and will have their eyes on coveted trophy. The match between the two sides is to be played on 20th May 2022 at Darren Sammy National Cricket Stadium, Gros Islet in St Lucia.

Choiseul Clay Pots played just a couple of matches in the group stage and were fantastic in both of those. With two wins in two matches and a net run rate of 3.350, they finished at the second spot. Although they won the semi-final match, they were bailed out by their lower-order batsmen after they were reduced to 5 for 36. Vince Smith scored a match-winning knock to take seal a tricky chase, which initially looked like a walk in the park.
On paper, the Clay Pots have a decent side with a batting lineup that goes deep. Besides, their bowlers have been exceptional in the tournament so far and would be expected to put up yet another impactful performance. Their batting is fragile at the top and if they can take care of that, getting past them could prove to be incredibly difficult.

Mon Repos Stars got off to a rather lucky start as they escaped a tricky situation with rain coming to their rescue. They didn't need all that luck thereafter as they did excellent job in both departments of the game right throughout their journey. They won all of their following matches in the league and then followed that up with an excellent win over Soufriere Sulphur City Stars in the semi-final. They looked down and out at one stage in the semi-final, having lost most of their batsmen for not many on the board, but then did a remarkable job to not only post a fighting total on the board but also to defend it.
On paper, Mon Repos Stars have an immaculately balanced side and that is evident from the performances they have posted thus far. They bat deep and that could be a crucial factor as it proved that in the previous match. Having said that, they will need to be at their very best to take on an in-form unit of Choiseul Clay Pots and if they are able to do that, getting past them could prove to be a challenging task.

Handling the pressure situations will be the key here in this match and the team that does it better will likely come out on top. On the basis of form, there's nothing to separate the two.
