Trinbago Knight Riders have gotten off to the worst possible start in the competition, losing both of their opening matches. Not only have they lost both the matches, they have done so without putting up any real fight.
They started off their campaign with a big loss at the hands of Barbados Royals Women in a match that they lost by 28 runs. While the margin of the loss reduced in their subsequent match, which was against Guyana Amazon Warriors Women, it was nonetheless a poor performance.
As it currently stands on the points table, Trinbago Knight Riders are placed at the bottom spot with zero points and a terrible net run-rate of -2.150. A win here will push them back into the reckoning and that is exactly what they will be aiming for.
Trinbago Knight Riders Women have a well-experienced team with the likes of Kycia Knight, Natasha McLean, Kyshona Knight, and Sune Luus available to bat. At number five though, they are arguably sending Sune Luus in a little too late. With the ball, however, they improved massively after their first outing and would want to do that further.
