Indibet Review
Trustworthiness
Indibet has a gambling license from Curacao. Whilst that is not our favourite, it is a valid license and there is nothing inherently wrong with that. It does mean, though, that we mostly need to judge Indibet on its own merit when it comes to trustworthiness.
As such, we checked other reviews and possible player comments about Indibet and found nothing amiss here. In fact, we found very little that indicates that anything untoward is going on at Indibet and no complaints cropped up during our research.
The lack of negative reviews doesn’t necessarily mean that Indibet is trustworthy per se, but we do consider it a good sign. On the other hand, we also didn’t find positive reviews as such, which means we will be taking a neutral approach here.
For what we could glean, Indibet seems to be a safe online casino and bookmaker. As always, of course, you should proceed with caution and make smaller deposits and withdrawals to test the betting facilities and services here.
The Cricketbook
The Cricketbook is the place to go to place bets on cricket at Indibet. In fact, the bookmaker doesn’t offer a classic sportsbook at all. They only offer betting on cricket. That is unusual, of course, but it seems to work for them, and cricket is by far the most popular sport in India.
Checking the Cricketbook, we were able to find betting options for matches taking place today and all the way through the next week. Pre-match betting beyond that does not seem to be available.
That means, at the time of our review only IPL live- and pre-match betting was available. For all upcoming matches a good selection of betting options was on offer.
We expect that further betting options would open up once more matches are available, which is currently not the case due to the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Cricketbook is definitely worth checking out if you primarily bet on cricket anyway.
The Exchange
If you are worried about not getting enough sports betting options, fear not. Whilst Indibet doesn’t offer odds on any other sports besides cricket, they do offer a separate exchange. Once again, Cricket betting gets prime position, but beyond that over two dozen other sports and eSports are covered in their betting exchange.
Here players determine the odds on a vast number of markets, which is a cool way of placing sports bets that gains more and more popularity. You chances of getting better odds than at traditional bookmakers are excellent and the range of betting options is quite large.
You will also find pre-match betting options for games and tournaments that are still months away, including for cricket.
Games and more
Additionally, Indibet also hosts a casino and a live casino. At the casino you’ll find plenty of slots, but not much else. We are also not sure about the providers here as we don’t know any of them. Well-known developers such as NetEnt, Microgaming or any of the other big ones are missing here entirely.
That’s not to say that the games aren’t fun to play. There are even some jackpot games, but we don’t quite know how big the jackpots are that you might be playing for here.
The live casino is much more interesting as it offers an excellent range of table games, including several options for Teen Patti and Andar Bahar. Of course, roulette, baccarat, blackjack and casino poker are also available here.
Many tables in the live casino are powered by Evolution Gaming, the leader in the industry. So, that’s good news.
Promotions and bonuses
Whilst there is a separate tab for ‘Promotions’ on the Indibet homepage, there’s nothing currently on display here. We do know that Indibet offered a welcome bonus in the past and we expect that this will be the case again in the future. But right now, there is simply nothing here.
There is no welcome offer or any other kind of promotion or bonus here. So, Indibet is definitely not for those chasing bonuses.
Banking options
Alas, there is no separate banking page available at Indibet. There is also no banking information on display anywhere on the page, such as the logos for Neteller or Skrill or any other options.
From what we were able to find out, Indibet does offer Neteller, Skrill, UPI and Net Banking as deposit methods. Withdrawals are only available via bank transfer.
But that’s about all we were able to find out. There is no information to be found anywhere concerning transaction times, limits or fees. Of course, once you are registered and make your first deposit, you will find further information at the cashier. But it is always good to know these things in advance.
Support
Support is available via live chat, WhatsApp, email and Telegram. You can enter all your details to get in touch with the customer service teams and at some point, you will likely find it necessary to do so as there is no help or FAQ section, no terms and conditions or any other information to be found anywhere on the homepage.
You can access all the betting and gambling products, but if you want to do anything else or know anything more, you will need to contact customer service. That’s quite inconvenient and we also consider this very untransparent. We’d expect a little more from a truly trustworthy provider.
Software
Whilst Indibet doesn’t score high on attractiveness or offers a hugely modern interface, it is a functional and easy-to-use website. Navigation is very easy, and you literally cannot go wrong here, simply because there is nowhere to go beyond the Cricketbook, the Exchange, the Live Casino or the Slots section.
The homepage comes in light shades of grey and white with some blue highlights and that is about the extent of it. Game icons are colourful, and all areas of the casino and sportsbook are quickly explored.
The mobile page looks very much the same and is just as easy to use for those who prefer to bet on the go. There is no mobile app available, but it also doesn’t seem necessary.
Summary
When you first open up Indibet, you have quite a pleasant impression. The site is easy on the eyes and very tidy. The Cricketbook leaves cricket betting fans swooning and the Exchange is a welcome addition that punters from India rarely get to find elsewhere.
The live casino is very well sorted and comes with a great range of games, whilst the slots seem more of a fun little distraction but hardly an attraction.
If you love cricket betting and are interested in betting exchanges, you should absolutely check out Indibet, as their offer here is quite unique.
But keep in mind that we are missing a few things such as a help or FAQ section, a banking section or any further information about the company behind Indibet. This lack of transparency is a bit worrying, but we also couldn’t find any negative reviews or complaints about the bookmaker. So, feel free to check them out, test their services and betting offers and let us know what you think.
